Using a new embossing, I first swiped 3 shades of green of distressed ink cubes to color the indented side of the EF before running through my sidekick.
I diecut the deer, the doe is flipped over, then using a journal pen, colored in the eyes & nose, within the holes of the die for guidance. The buck is popped up with dimensional dots.
Matted the forest in dark brown, the cardbase is a muted version of camo design.
Using alphabet dies, I cut out the word happy in colored portions of the scrap camo DP. The 3 dots are paper punched.
Inside, I added more die cut letters & large numbers that says sweet 16 in a pink camo DP.
This will go to our friends daughter who is having a birthday party with the camo theme. She absolutely loves anything & everything in camo and is an avid outdoor girl!

I love the scene you created, changing the reeds and cranes to deer and woods. Those deer are wonderful......they look surprised to be found be humans, and not sure whether or not to smile for the camera. Fun card!!! She will love it!

That sure is an outstanding embossed background and perfectly shows a similarity to the inspiration piece you chose I like the change to deer and the camo-inspired card base looks great with this card.
