Hi friends,
Well, I needed something to go with this sentiment this week so Oxide inks in Easter colors and bleach stamping fit the bill along with some peeps and jelly beans...who doesn't like candy at Easter (although I don't like either of these two candies ironically).
I probably would have done painted eggs but I didn't have a plain egg to use, oh well.
The bleach worked great on the Oxide inks and actually left sort of an aqua color which worked perfectly with the aqua paper I had in my stash.
The scallop frame die is from Lawn Fawn and the little bow is from ODBD.
Thanks for looking!

What a lovely Easter sentiment and beautiful background. I'm glad you tried the oxides...I was going to make a Foxi Oxi piece tomorrow and was wondering about trying them, even though the tutorial calls for dye inks. I liked your suggestion of the crumpled paper towel...I imagine it gives a look a little like the wax paper resist with crinkled-up waxed paper. On the whole I've had a lot of failures with trying to bleach coloured card, but I might give this a go too. I love that little bow!!
We don't have peeps here, but I do like jelly beans!

This is super cute! I love the colors you used and the aqua color that your bleach left behind. I don't like either of those candies either, but they sure are cute on your card!

Wow another beautiful Easter card Robin, thanks for all the details about the process. Mate we call "candies", "lollies". As you are my sistah from anudder mudder, I feel it is my duty to share this information...it might also be a question on the quiz I am preparing for you.
