Here's my card going to cat-loving little Payson for this week's The Heart of the Matter MMTPT challenge, hosted by Polly this week. At first when I read about Payson's granddad living by the water I was thinking of Snoopy sitting on the dock, but when I read on to how she loves cats, and took a look at the teapot and cookies, I changed tack. There's a tiny video snip where I've linked this upload on the challenge thread, which shows the waterfall in action and all the kitties I used. Coincidentally the stamps all have borders, which fit well with Polly's extra challenge element, but I also doodled a border on the waterfall strip.
I have a soft spot for the Waterfall Card tutorial as it's how I discovered SCS. I used one of the MFT file folder dies to cut a tab in the end of the waterfall strip and added a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Push Here, great for interactive cards. Not needing to add fibres or ribbon to pull makes this much less bulky.
Images stamped on white card and coloured with Polychromos pencils. I upped the sizes of the squares slightly from the tutorial, to accommodate the size of my stamped images and allow for matting.

Hmmmmmm. I think this is more of a CAT-aract, wouldn't you? I love it and I love that this is how you found SCS! Great card and I know that she will be fascinated with the interactive element. Great thinking and great design, Sabrina.

What a stupendously purrfect card for Payson! Children love interactive things and this card will delight her with all the purple and the super adorable kitties you have on each of the interactive waterfall "pages." I have not made a waterfall card in ages so thank you for the great inspiration. I love knowing this tutorial is how you discovered scs too. Fun! ~Karen.
