I actually had a shade of tubed watercolor called Burnt Sienna, so that formed the majority of my ink, along with some Permanent Red and and also some Distress antique bronze mixed in. I dappled with Lamp black. The cattails and dragonflies were die cut from white and glued on, outlined in black ink, and and then the card was dappled with more black. A fun and messy way to do a marvelous bg. TFL

A gorgeous dappled birthday card! So pretty with the contrast between your beautiful background and the white die cuts. I like the vertical greeting too, I don't have many of those (if any!).

What a striking card this is Kandie! Your bg is so incredibly beautiful and really highlights these gorgeous white die cuts. I love the black outlining you did on these die cuts too! ~Karen.
