This card started out as a fail but I was so happy with it in the end. I began by ink blending a couple of Distress Oxide Inks on a piece of card stock, then used silver glitter paste over a stencil, hoping the paste would absorb the ink colors. But it didn't (found out you need a more translucent paste for that to work).
After it dried, I decided to spray the whole thing with a lilac metallic spray and this is how it turned out! I was so, so happy. Of course if you don't love purple, then you would not be wild about this but I do, so I was pleased.
The panel was trimmed down and then a vellum sentiment left off a previous project seemed to work well with this, wrapping around the panel without totally obscuring the background, then mounted to an A2 card base.
I'm joining the current Mixability Challenge to spray, splatter, sprinkle or smoosh. So fun!
Thanks for taking a look!
