I used a different stamp and different technique but kept the same idea
I used alcohol markers to make the bg on a big acrylic bloc made 3 levels of color to make the sand, grass and sky then sprayed rubbing alcohol over and applied the paper, I stamped the trees joggeur and French sentiment

This is such a wonderful card with the scenery and runner. DH is an International Track and Field Official, and we sometimes send cards to other officials. I'll be casing this multiple times, mf!

Ooooh Anita, wherever did you get that joggeur stamp? The landscape is lovely and your colors so motivating. Seriously though, where did you get that stamp? I desperately need to get it. A very, very dear friend (incidentally in the Paris area at the moment) has been a long-distance runner all his life and I would so love to surprise him with a card. TFS!

OK, well running is not what I will be doing on my birthday (or any day, actually! LOL!) but this would be perfect for lots of people I know! Great background!
