We are going to redo our house or buy another in the next few years and I am putting barn doors all over even if they are out of style by then. That is why I couldn't resist buying this barn door die from SU!.
I used the DRS Designs Wood Grain Background stamp twice on some crumb cake paper. Then I sponged on Vintage Photo ink which was way too dark. Then I took some Picket Fence and sponged on top - it took down the intensity of the darker ink and you could see the wood grain again. Super fun.
Fussy cut some shamrocks and glittered them up for my door hanging. Little smudge to the left had to get a little shamrock as well.
Fun inspiration site. Now I am off to check out the new Featured Stamper, I heard she is all about color!

Beautifully inspired card! Thanks for the info on how you created the wood grain on the door!

Ha, stop making me want this set! This is delicious! We are in the middle of renovating our apartment and we are putting in a barn door! I had never heard of them until recently. Love the swirls and shamrocks. This is a real Irish Blessing card and I just love it.

Oh, I'm loving your barn door cards, Nancy. When you get that new house, I want to come see it and all those barn doors. I'm sure it will be awesome. Super card you've created here. Glad you liked the site.

This is so pretty, Nancy! Love your rustic barn door w/ the glitter shamrocks. Good luck w/ your plan. At first we thought we'd redo but could never find a contractor so we moved, lol! Now we have to sell the first house.
