I splattered and smooshed for this week's mixed media challenge and I swiped as well! The orange stripe is an ink pad dragged across the card, black paint spatters on top. I had an offcut of a shaving foam background (so that's splatter the ink on the foam and smoosh the paper into it :o)) and used that to cut the bubble die cut then inlaid the patterned pieces into a plain white one.
Supplies:
White, black orange cardstock
Shaving foam background offcut
Bright Bubbles Thinlits die by Sizzix
Mini Butterfly duo dies by Tim Holtz/Sozzix
Tim Holtz Distress ink by Ranger (Spiced Marmalade)
Versafine by Tsukineko (Onyx Black)
Say It Loud stamp set (Waltzingmouse Stamps, no longer with us)
Black fine line marker
Black acrylic paint
Copic markers
TFL!

Love the vibrant colors, swiping of ink, and that wonderful shaving cream bg. Pretty butterfly, also....can't wait to see them fluttering about outside.

Wow, a visual stunner! To inlay the pattern pieces inside the bubble die cut must have taken some time and patience but it was well worth the effort. Gorgeous result, Joanne.

Orange! My favorite! Beautiful, vibrant card, Joanne! I can't get our the great coverage you got from swiping that ink pad across the paper. Mine never cover so well.
