I started with a background of orange and pink watercolour sprays that I had in my stash. I loved the colours, but they weren't bright enough when I added the heart cut-out card front. They were a bit boring.
So I used my heart card front as a template, outlining the design with a gold metallic pen over top of the w/c background. I then used my zigs to colour in the design with brighter colours. Popped the card front back over top. The zigs layered over the w/c background created vibrant, shaded colours. I added a gold heat embossed sentiment to finish.
