Congrats to Susy, featured stamper of the week. Susy is fun, helpful and has a generous spirit. I got my inspiration from this card: CAS451 Autumn Fern -Thanks by Boss at Splitcoaststampers
I had a large pearlized paper envelope I received at Christmas and cut a piece from it and embossed with the pine needles e.f. The white gold shimmer Recollections was not a complete match but pretty close to die cut some branches.
The baked brown sugar c.s echoes Susy's burlap look. I did not have any large fern dies so I went in a different direction as you can see, lol. Enjoy your week, Susy! This looks pearlized irl but camera showed too much glare.

Gorgeous! Amazing case. With the layered branches and the pearlized sheen, it must be stunning IRL. I can imagine it. Love the white and brown together. Beautiful card. TFS

My goodness Shirl, this is just gorgeous! I love that card of Susy's too, and have been pondering on it today as well. I love how you took Susy's inspiration card and made yours into a Christmas card instead. The white-on-white for this card with the hint of gold for the white-embossed sentiment and panel is terrific. The pop of red and green in the holly and berries is really elegant Shirl. One thing you do really really well is edit yourself, and I love how you do that (I am still learning this myself). You have made a stellar card Shirl based on Susy's gorgeous inspiration card. ~Karen.

This is so pretty, Shirl! I have had a hard time photographing pearlized and metallic paper too. I really like the embossed texture, your pearly background, with those holly leaves. So pretty!
