I am supposed to be making our son a birthday card, but got inspired by today's Inspiration Challenge! I thought immediately of an image I haven't used for years. In fact I went back in my gallery, and it was in 2010! Oh, my goodness! So this is for the USEIT2018 Challenge. Julie Gearinger challenges us to use our neglected stamps!
I picked the blue iris on green at the bottom of Stacy's post. Don't think I can use this for our son! LOL Also, this is for the Mix-ability challenge to use pattern paper. I was going to use Dina's tutorial again for this one, since she is this weeks hostess, but it was taking too long to dry! So, I just watercolored the image not the whole panel. It was real hard for me to leave so much white! LOL I tried gems or sequins and it just didn't look right. So left it! Not my style at all. LOL
Thanks for looking!

Ooh I forgot about this stamp ( I have it) I have not seen it in a while so, its fun to see that you used yours Sharon. ( my MIL's favorite flower is an Iris) and so, I feel like I have a really ( small ) collection of the stamps. I love how sweet this is and how that big sentiment POPS a lot.

What a wonderfully graceful stem! I love that you kept it clean so that beautiful blossom really shines! That shade of green is lovely and the ribbon and bow combo sets it off perfectly. I agree - not the card for your son but I bet anyone of us here would appreciate it! :-)
