Flying high on your birthday - snowboard jump

I started by painting my background and spritzing with blending solution to give it more texture and creating a snow-like effect. Then, the snowboarder was fussy cut out of grunge paper; the number 10 was cut using the Word Play die. I embossed each piece in black three times using Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel and then brushed on Perfect Pearls to give it a cool metallic look. This technique was inspired by Rach0113 faux cloisonné technique (on YouTube.) This is for my grandson's 10th birthday; seemed like a great theme as the Olympics are on right now and my grandson's really into snowboarding these days! TFL
