Both fun challenges today! As a mom to a mini macaw (parrot), I had to do the CAS Feathered Friends & the painting w/ cardboard looked like fun. My piece didn't turn out as pretty as I'd hoped so I used just some it behind the toucan.
Since I have the aforementioned parrot, every day is Bird Day around here, lol. And I know I have a bunch of bird stamps. I just love this Laurel Burch toucan (well, I love all her images!) so I had a lot of fun coloring him. I think I'll save this for my BIL's birthday..he has a parrot, too, so a lot of his days are Bird Days as well.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ the Copic colors & closeup: The Write Stuff

This is jaw dropping Julie ... I love this card, the beautiful colours and the Toucan is a gorgeous stamp. I have never seen that before so will have to check them out. Thank you for joining us for this week's CAS challenge.

Of course I knew you would have to be in on a bird challenge ;) Your toucan is so colorful...love all the greens! You found a unique way to use your cardboard painted piece as a framing element. Fun card and well done!

Julie, your background from using the cardboard technique turned out must better than mine! I tried, but gave up! Regardless, your coloring of the gorgeous bird is outstanding and the card design is great!! I love your work, Julie!!
