This is an "everything but the kitchen sink" card, mostly because I wanted to try out the little mermaid die.
The blue embossed background was in my scraps box - I misted it with gold shimmer mist which toned it down a little - not much.
The colours in the tissue paper watercolour background seemed to give a foreground for the mermaid to sit on, so I die-cut an oval from that and matted it on black.
The mermaid was cut from white card, Couleur d'Art pencils for her body and hair, Stickles for her tiara, and Gelatos and SN clear glitter pen for her tail.
I added some seaweedy fibre, strings of microbeads, a couple of little star buttons and lots of Liquid Pearls and Stickles.
It was fun to make - but I'm not sure about sending it to the person I thought I was making it for.
