Nobody likes making sympathy cards, but, sadly, they are necessary. I like to make special cards for sympathy. I feel it's a special way to let someone I care for know that I am thinking of them and that I care.
For my card, I watercolored the flower, Impression-Obsession F8739, with Tombow markers. The background was created with distress inks, and Impression-Obsession CL124 Solid Florals. The sympathy verse is from IO's set CL114 Sympathy Sentiments.
I took inspiration from this photo in Julie's Inspiration Challenge.
Thanks for looking. More details on this card can be found on my BLOG.

Wow, the flower on your card absolutely pops and I thought at first that it was die cut and layered on. Your colouring is awesome. Love it. TFS Happy day

Be still my heart! Lynda, your coloring is amazing, and this peony is exquisite! Your no-line coloring is unmatched, and I absolutely love all your work! Thanks for sharing, as it inspires me so much!! I am sorry that it must be a sympathy card, but I know it will be cherished. I love making extra special cards for those who have lost someone dear. Hugs and love! xoxo

Swoon! This is such a gorgeous card that I am honestly speechless (which is rare). Everything about this card is stunning and done to the 9's. I am truly impressed! ~Karen.
