From the picture thereÂ’s not much wow here, but the sun & water sparkle nicely with the added wink of Stella.
This stamp set is my new favorite with endless possibilities of outdoor nature scenes.
After stamping the design I added a color wash for the sky in soft sky ink and so saffron.
Matted in dk blue and wrapping with twine, I popped up the panel on foam dots. Heat embossed sentiment on the tag, pulled twine ends through the tag hole and knotted.
I spent the past two weeks with my parents nursing them back to health from bronchitis & pneumonia and gall bladder surgery. IÂ’m glad I was able to help them and very happy to be back playing in my craft from again.
This card will go to them now that theyÂ’re feeling better.

I am not sure why you said there isn't much wow. I think it looks great. The little drops of wink of stella look like little reflections of sunshine on the water. I bet it is even prettier in real life. It is so hard to capture wink of stella with photographs. I am glad that they are better. They are going to love this card. Glad you got to craft. That in itself is always a wow time. Thanks for playing along with my challenge. I hope you have a blessed day.

Oh Jeannie - you have been busy! I'm sure they really appreciated your love and care. I remember we made an unscheduled visit to my parents when they had their 70th birthdays (two days apart) - they'd both been sick so there wasn't much likelihood of any special birthday meal for them unless we went down. My mother was bummed because I'd got her a single malt Scotch, and because she was on antibiotics for the pneumonia, she couldn't drink it.
Back to your card - it's beautiful. And we all know how wonderful that sparkle is in real life. And what a neat way to tie the tag on - noting that for future reference, it looks great. The green plaid is a suitably rustic-feeling background for your tranquil countryside scene.
