I really needed a masculine card so used this water faucet coat hook for my inspiration. I liked the metallic feel and the bright spot of red.
For my card I started with about 6 layers of heavy duty aluminum folded in to a 4 X 6 rectangle - put in into an industrial looking EF and ran it through the Big Shot. I adhered this to my card base with double sided tape. I Die cut the red banner with SB A-2 Curved Borders and stamped my sentiment on one end. Finished by die cutting several cog / gears. I dragged some copper ink over the large black one then added a bit of copper EP for a more weathered look, and there you have it a quick & easy industrial looking card for my baby brother.

Very masculine and I really like the foil embossed. The gear looks great. Brother is sure to like it. Good job with your inspiration.

That embossing of the aluminum is so cool! Great idea and masculine cards are always the hardest for me to come up with. This one is perfect.
