I'm this week's WTUI hostess for Give Me a Second Chance and it's time to bring those old unused tools out of the closet. I've had this Memory Makers Tagmaker for at least ten years and this is only the second time I've used it! This weeks Color Challenge calls for red, silver and white, wonderful Valentine colors!
I stamped the sentiment and images on vellum, added some touches of red with a water-based marker. Used the tag maker to add a silver heart rim. Stamped the cute little boy on glossy paper, added a few touches of color with water-based markers and fussy cut. Embossed hearts on a strip of red cs and added to the card base. Popped the images up with dimensional tape and finished it off with silver cord. TFL

A great vintage image to go with your old tool, Carla. You should use it more, they look really great! It makes me want to go and check out the faux tag tutorial.

This tag tool is great! I did not get one when they came out as I was not crafting as much during the time that they came out. I love your super Vintage Valentine card. Thank you for the push to use an old tool, that pushed me to start clearing out some other unused items and I am slowly getting through the stacks of stuff.

Isn't it funny how we have to have the newest little gadgets without even thinking how useful it will be to us. Oh, the money I have spent.... I love this card you made with this fancy tag maker.

Darling image of the little guy holding roses. The bg ef is perfect for Valentine's Day, in addition to the hearts. Your tag maker needs more love. Great challenge!!
