As I dragged the ink pads over my paper toweling, I quickly discovered 2 things - not only was the diamond and marquise pattern BOLD it was also BORING . . . but we work with what we've got - SO before glueing it to my card base, I tore it into several strips then glued it back together offsetting the pattern a bit to break up it's (to me) monotony.
Stamped the mountain range fussy cut the top and did a torn edge on the bottom, then dragged the Soft rose pad over the torn edge. I adhered the mountains with glue on the bottom edge and foam tape under the mountain peaks. Since I don't own a Misti, I got ONE shot at stamping my sentiment onto the toweling - luckily I had just re-inked my cat's eyes so the super wet pad / stamp made a great impression on the paper towel!

This reminds me of Switzerland, or the high mountains in France. Great idea to use the torn edge to echo the mountain peaks. I certainly don't see any monotony here, Linda. I admire anyone who succeeded in stamping on the paper towel...I didn't even go there.

Linda, you did a great job with the paper towel technique. I agree with Sabrina about stamping on the towel. I had to take a second look at the sentiment to make sure it was actually stamp on it. Great job, Linda!

Love the scene you created with the paper towel and the mountains.

Terrific mountain scene Linda! The ‘starry sky’ captured my attention right away and your ‘sandy’ foreground adds a lovely dimension to your beautiful mountain scene! Love it!!

I like how you chose to use your paper towels...it worked great for this scene and your greeting looks very good stamped only once ;) That mountain range image is wonderful!

So very pretty with the different shades you used, almost an ombre. So nice with the mountainside standing against the sky background. Beautiful.
