Today our inspiration was the artwork of Frederique Morrel. I didn't choose any one thing in particular but was generally inspired by the pictures of the colorful mixed media creations against the white background. Perfect because I've been so stumped about what to make for my oldest nephew's 21st birthday card.
I created the cut file for the ScanNCut using the "Impact" font and cut it out (it's getting so easy!). Then I printed all the beer mugs on Hawaiian shores cardstock because his favorite color has always been teal. I colored the mugs with colored pencils and white gel pen and then I colored the background with BT5 Spectrum Noir marker to darken it up. When I finished it seemed plain and bare, so I wrote in the sentiment at the bottom.

Good job with the cut outs and your handwriting is super duper. I love teal, too.

What an amazing bg for a guy turning 21!! Gives me an idea or two for my two granddaughters who turn 21 in May.
