I made two faux mother-of-pearl cards from one card front. The first one here is a frame, created by adding light touches of front white paint with a scrunched piece of cling wrap. I sponged over top with distress inks. This fits the CAS Mix Up January Challenge - Cling Wrap that is run by Nancy Littrell.. I hope you'll join us.
I heat embossed the Altenew Peony and leaf sprig in white, watercoloured with the same distress inks used to sponge the frame and then fussy cut. I added a lovely sentiment in the center of the frame using silver Delicata ink (sparkly on it's own and does not need to be heat embossed). Popped up the frame over top and added the flower and leaf sprig in the corner.
This is really beautiful, Loll! I love the faux mother of pearl frame! The delicata sentiment must be so pretty IRL--I have the gold and love the look!
