Another card inspired by Pinterest! I know--I really need to get out more! LOL I cut a piece of watercolor paper for my focal panel, and stamped the grass & 2 of the birds from "Serene Silhouettes." I don't have a die that would create a "notebook" type edge, so I made tick marks along the top edge with a pencil. I used my Crop-a-Dile II to punch a hole at each mark, and then used my scissors to snip from the edge to those holes. I also used a "Stitching Lines" die to create a line of faux-stitching below that.
I chose brown cardstock for my background, but wanted to add a little more interest. So I used Gathered Twigs & the "Crossing Waves" stencil to ink that. I then adhered my focal panel to the background.
I printed my greeting, from "Swimming Mallard," onto a strip of vellum. After letting the ink dry, I cut the strip into a banner. I taped it to my panel temporarily with delicate-surface Frog tape, and pierced 3 holes for brads. I put antique-copper brads in to "adhere" my strip, and removed the tape. Finally, I adhered my card front to a white card base.
