I should say that I TRIED to follow the tutorial. Somehow, I messed it up so that the diamond is backwards from how it should be. I guess that is my trick for Kathy...oops!
I colored the angel with Copics. It is a little hard to blend them when more colors are needed but I do my best. I will have to try this fold again and see if I can do it correctly next time. It was still fun to do and I hope Kathy likes the card. The inside sentiment is from Thoughts & Prayers but I didn't include a photo of the inside.
Thanks for looking.

I think the angel is beautifully coloured, Catherine, and I just love her auburn hair!! There are definitely some folds I've need to practice first with scrap, the Spring fold was none and I think this is a relative.

The card is beautiful even if the fold is not perfect. Lovely angel, beautifully colored, and you used Kathy's favorite color. Thank you for playing the Teapot Challenge.

U did great! Love the angel and the coloring. I'm sure the fold is fine and she will love it. I find there's always a learning curve on doing new designs. TFS

This is a really beautiful card Catherine- I got tears in my eyes when I opened the image up so I know it will mean a lot to Kathy too. I have never been able to come up with auburn-colored hair using copics so I bow to you for doing this. I am super impressed. And the rest of your angel is colored beautifully too. I love her purple dress, heavenly golden wings and sparkly horn. This upright diamond fold is new to me so thank you for sharing the link. I usually have to do a new technique 2-3 times before I get it right. You did a terrific job and Kathy will certainly appreciate this so very much! ~Karen.
