Happy New Year, everyone! It's time for another Color Challenge and this week Mary is our host, having chosen Sweet Sugarplum, Mint Macaron and Chocolate Chip. Dessert is to use something new, which I did with this new Suzy's watercolor print.
I water colored the panel with Distress Oxide inks (including black as my neutral), adding Glossy Accents to the cup and heart at the top of the panel for some nice shine, and a bit of Wink of Stella to the whip cream for sparkle. I used a small paint brush to create the checked pattern on the table cloth and a jellyroll pen to add dots to the words "hot" and "hug".

This is such a fun card!!! The hot chocolate looks so yummy with the dollop of whipped cream and the pink heart on the mug. That sentiment is a great one too. :>)

I love everything about this card Stef! It is -22 degrees here and I always crave a wonderful cup of hot cocoa when it is this cold and now I now why from your fabulous sentiment- it is true! I am constantly inspired how you use a white gel pen and doodle on your cards to add your own touch to an image. This tablecloth is brilliant and something I would never have thought to do myself. The pink H and pink heart made me smile as soon as I saw your card! ~Karen.
