I'm trying to do some of the technique lover's challenges that I didn't get a chance to try the last few week's. This one is actually from early October - Acrylic Batik. Here is a link to Dina's fabulous tutorial: Acrylic Batik Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers which I followed to create the blue background panel. Then it was simply a matter of heat embossing the sentiment, die cutting the two snowflake dies (from my Falliday win, thank you!), and it was done. I like the simple design as it lets that wonderful background shine through. The snowflakes were cut from some glitter paper and are quite sparkly.
Thanks for looking!

Oh, I love this. I need more acrylics too. I don't have a nice blue like this one of yours. I did it with red when I tried it. Oh and I see you are using a new to you Whimsey die that you got when you won a prize?

This is such a stunning card Catherine! These frosty swirls look so elegant with this gorgeous shade of blue. Those sparkly/glittery snowflakes are the perfect finishing touch on this wonderful card. I am going to check out this video now- thanks for sharing it! ~Karen.
