| | I am posting this card in today's Featured Stamper gallery. Nan Cee's is this week's featured stamper and her gallery is gorgeous - I love so many of her cards! My friend Loretta loaned me her SU Serene Sunflower stamps to play with so I went perusing through the galleries to see how to use this wonderful stamp set and I saved 1 card (yep, one card). And guess whose card it was? This card right here of Nan Cee's: Big Blue Flowers by Nan Cee's at Splitcoaststampers. I do not have the sunflower set she used, but it sure inspired me to make this thank you card. I would never in a million years have made a blue sunflower card without Nan Cee's inspiration and I was delighted with how this card turned out. For some reason, I never uploaded this card. I think I was saving it for one of the alphabet challenges, then forgot about it. There is a lot of masking on this card so the leaves are positioned around the flowers just so. I am rather drawn to how Gina K Designs makes her cards so I followed one of her card designs when making this card with the oval panel on top and the bow. I have so much ribbon and really need to start using some of it up. Thank you so much Nan Cee's for all the wonderful inspiration in your gallery- I have fav'd many of your cards. Thanks for looking today! ~Karen. |
