TLC669 - String Theory. A fun and messy (but fun!) technique using string in paint to create a lovely piece of art. I tried thread in alcohol inks on Yupo and thought the result was delicate enough to attract a pretty butterfly.

Pretty dual colors on your string art, Kandie, and nicely accented with the strips of Washi tape. You really did a good job getting the stem wrapped in exactly the right spot on your flower.

Love how it turned out! I like that you did it with two different colors; you are always so creative. Just the perfect touch with the pretty butterfly!

You and I went with similar colors. I still had Christmas cards on my mind. I love how your flower turned out. It really looks like a rose! And indeed it is beautiful to attract your beautiful butterfly!

Oh my, alcohol inks on Yupo must indeed have been even more messy than re-inkers on white card! But beautiful, and I love the way you used the green to create a calyx for the lily.
