Was admiring everyone's creations in the sketch challenge last night and thought I would try it out. I put the tree stamp in my HA stamp positioner. I first stamped in Artichoke and then a few more times in Garden Green (my pads were pretty dry). Then I used a chocolate chip marker to fill in some of the trunk.
Then I used my aqua painter to spread the ink around. I kinda pounced it instead of smearing back and forth. It kept it's shape and design pretty well that way.

This is gorgeous! I love your plaid dsp which feels so warm and cozy with this wonderful pine tree image. I regret not buying this wonderful stamp set. The wooden snowflake is the perfect embellishment on this wonderful Christmas card! ~Karen.

Fabulous job with the sketch! So glad you tried it. Love how you did the trees. The multiple stamping with different greens and adding in some brown provided nice dimension and texture. The light touch of water made it look like you had water-colored the image. Terrific results. Wonderful combination of papers. The wooden snowflake is a nice touch. Well done! TFS
