Congratulations to Donna, the featured stamper today. I was drawn to this one: Merry & Bright by Krashscrapper at Splitcoaststampers
because I wanted to use the Twinkling Lights stamp I had. I made my own snowflake dp with the snowflake Stampendous stamp, inking it up in silver Delicata as well as the Hardwood stamp. Her card gave me a chance to use some ribbon too. My changes were a diecut sentiment, different dsp. and Penguin image as well as the Twinkling Lights. Popped everything up with dimensionals. I diecut the falala once in heavy white c.s. and 2x in garden green before gluing it on. Stickles added to the lights stamp and black glaze pen on the string dots. I know I have a lot going on -on this card, lol. Oh well, it was somewhat! fun to make, lol...TFL

This card is so much fun and so charming Shirl. I adore your singing penguin- he is just too cute! Your snowflake stamped cs is fabulous and looks even more amazing with your twinkling lights stamp (I need that stamp now!). You have coordinated this card to the 9's my friend using the grays in the snowflakes and the hardwood, then the fabulous fa la la dsp with your terrific stacked fa la la word sentiment. I love it and this is going straight into my favs! ~Karen.
