I missed this as a MIX challenge because it posted late and then I was away. I thought I'd try Drunken Acrylic Reveal as a tutorial for the WT challenge. Mixed feelings...I spoiled my first attempt by adding one layer too many which wasn't thin enough. This one looked better before it dried, but I wasn't going to waste all that time, paint and watercolour paper. Luckily the colours went well with my new butterfly which I had coloured just for fun (DH's penalty for not having his Ducati on the road after he asked me back in April to tax it for him is that every month it's still off the road, I get to buy something for myself - butterflies in November). And the Serendipity sentiment played so well off the technique, it was truly a serendipitous coming together of different elements. IRL the butterfly is beautifully sparkly but this low winter light is so hard for photography.

This turned out so well, Sabrina. I love the white, they look sparkly to me, splatters near the butterfly and I can see a bit of sparkle on the butterfly. Nicely done!
