I've been wanting to use this set--played with the sketch to make it work--and I didn't want to cover up her legs with a sentiment. You can't tell too well in the photo, but the black background is embossed with the "beehive" hexagons that remind me of chicken wire.

Cute & fun. Terrific take on the sketch. Love the feathers with this cute chick. The hexagon embossing and the ribbon give it the chicken wire, country look but is also chic in black. Sometimes there is no need for a sentiment or you want to wait until you use the card. Looks great. Nicely done. tFS

This is adorable! Love the feathers as well as the fun "Hey Chick" image and the honeycomb background! Perfect for our sketch this week and sure to bring a smile to the recipient's face :-) Hugs and tfs!

This is so dang fun!!!!! Love how you kept the image uncolored except for sponged edge and then used those feathers as the backdrop - The haphazard way you placed them even echoes the chic’s design. And yes, I did notice the chicken wire embossed design, it couldn’t be more perfect!! Thanks for sharing this smile-maker!

What a cute and fun card, Lisa! The background hexagons do look like chicken wire - perfect choice of the embossing folder and the washi tape. Adding feathers is such a great idea! Hideko
