I am thrilled to be on the inspiration challenge team and hope to give you some wonderful sites to choose from when I co-host.
Julie gave us a wonderful site this week called Paperchase. My inspiration was found in these tags or rather the tartan/plaid they used. https://www.paperchase-usa.com/tartan-red-tag-x3.html I love this die cut and the plaid paper I'm using. I guess I should have made tags but being a snowman lover...well, you know, I just had to use this die cut.
I made a different card for the challenge and took hours and didn't like it when finished. This one was easy peasy and fast.
It was called a stepper card from the tutorial I used but I call it a box card...just looks kind of that way to me. I used a 12" L x 4 1/2" W piece of white cardstock and scored at 4", 8", and 10". If I make another one, I will make the width about an 1/8" wider. The die was attached to the inside of the front flap. Of course, the front flap comes down and opens and there is a place to stamp and write a note. The card flattens for mailing to a 4 1/2 x 6.
The gold metallic was hard to photograph and looks blurred, but it isn't irl.
Looking forward to seeing your cards/projects.

I Love snowmen too, Brenda! Great choice to leave the die-cuts white since you have such a pretty plaid for the bg! I like those touches of gold~ I'm glad you like my card so well. ; )

Wow you have ticked all of my favourite things...tartan, snowman, silhouette and Christmas. I'm glad I don't have the letter B in Favs of the Week, I've barely recovered from two weeks ago Miss Brenda. This is fabulous!!!

Benzi, this looks so cool! I love the plaid! I created a design yesterday with plaid! I am loving plaid. My sweet girl told me last night she doesn't' like it. What? Such cool die cuts to go with this fun shaped card!
