DD8ABC16P: we are on the letter P this week with a double challenge of using kraft paper. My letter P is the tutorial Paint Swiping found here: Paint Swiping Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I used soft gray and blue acrylic paint to do my paint swiping. After doing the paint swiping, I added silver Nuvo glitter paste through a stencil randomly, then splattered with blue watercolor paint. It looked like a stormy background to me so I used the Weather Together stamp set to make an umbrella which is popped up on dimensionals. The umbrella is made from Crumb Cake - my version of kraft paper and the card base is Crumb Cake as well. This was a fun tutorial.
Thanks for looking!

What a fabulous card this is Catherine! Your bg looks amazing, and it works perfectly with your pretty umbrella here (another P). I just love these sparkly dots you stenciled on to add to the feeling of brighter days ahead. You sentiment is really lovely Catherine and works perfectly with your amazing card. Thank you for sharing this wonderful technique with us too! ~Karen.
