November was my turn to host the secret sister card challenge. I can say that for the first time in my cardmaking history I'm not happy with a card I've created. This is nothing like what I envisioned in my mind!! It is what it is and I'm calling it done! Note to self, it's time to put that set of dies away! I love this image but did not do it justice, other than by coloring with glitter pens she is sparkly! On another note, this was my first time to create a background using my Gelliplate and oxide distress inks!
I'm also using this card for the Alpha O challenge...
O = Orange; Oxide Inks

Well, Vickie, she does look like she was baked in the oven..so I guess you got the HOT part right! Since you are the owner of the stamp, lots of do-overs at your leisure until you get the vision right - or maybe you wake up from the nightmare and start a new dream. Menopause is like that-brain fog and hot flashes!

I like the graduated die cuts in the different colors, and I think you did a really pretty job coloring her up. I think we are our worst critics. It is funny how she is wrapped from head to toe and then complains about the heat. LOL! Lovely card.

Gorgeous layers and what a fun stamp with all those polka dots everywhere. She needs to wear short sleeves, they are cooler! Fun way to do the twine too.

I think it is great, Vickie.......Ha, the orange, and then cooler green. I get hot flashes and then feel cold. This card works on a lot of levels, lol. I too, noticed your wonderful twine treatment!
Oh I agree with Sally . We tend to be the worst critics when it comes to ourselves. But that’s only because only we know what we envisioned lol I rather love your layers and the twine bow. Orange and green is always a great color combo and oh you know what I think of yellow!!!

I like it! The color is great, the layering is cool. I like the twine accent. Yes, maybe she's a little orange, but some layering could fix that easily!
