I LOVE Chinese Lanterns - you'd never have guessed, would you. Janine made a lovely card with this die and it fell into my basket. Here I cut it from kraft, which I coloured in places with a green pencil. The pieces behind (I had to buy two dies to get the solid one) are cut from card sponged with distress inks. I stamped Off the Grid in white on black card and laid the lanterns over, then drew a border with a white pen. Added a simple word sticker to finish it off.

This is such a striking card Sabrina. These Chinese Lanterns look amazing set against this wonderful black bg. Using a black bg is something I never would have thought to do, and I love the effect. The white grid and your white pen work are the perfect finishing touches on this wonderful card. ~Karen.
