I am almost late to the party, but when I read last week's Teapot Tuesday story, I simply had to participate. Wesley's birthday is the same day as my dear aunt Carol's birthday. My aunt Carol was killed by a drunk driver when she was only 54 years old at 5:10 p.m. in the afternoon coming home from work. My aunt Carol and Uncle Larry owned a fabulous classic car that they absolutely loved and enjoyed. So, after reading Wesley's story, I could really feel my aunt's presence with me prompting me to make a card for Wesley even though it will most likely be late. I do not own a 50's or 60's muscle car image, but I think Wesley will enjoy these images all the same. Thank you for this wonderful challenge - it was as poignant for me as I hope it will be for Wesley. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Terrific design with the car images on the banner, definitely one the recipient will appreciate! So sorry about your aunt, it's got to be tough to relive even to this day. Hugs my friend!

What a moving back-story to your creation, Karen. What is with let who think they can drink (or drug) and drive? I don't even like to drive if I've taken snytyhinfBetweenthat for a headache because I know it fills my reactions. What a classic and classy card for Wesley. The bow is a super-fun touch.

So fabulous Karen, the way you have switched the position of the cars around. It adds so much interest. I am sure Wesley will just love this card and again, my condolences on your Aunt Carol. Oh, and I really like your background paper choice!
