For Free for all 405 - "This world is but a canvas for our imagination". I stamped my dreaming girl on a piece of a masterboard I did a couple of weeks ago and am slowly using up. I mounted her on black CS and then mounted that on a piece of corrugated that I'd brushed with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in gold (love that stuff) so that only the "hills" of the corrugated were covered and not evenly. Not too much else needs explaining here. I was excited to use my nifty embossed star punch for the first time (I really have to get my punches out where I can see them, I forget I even own them), and of course I love to put a messy swirl of thread under any little embellishment.
This card wouldn't pose for a good picture. I think it had lighting needs that were above my pay grade. But this my best shot and will have to do.
What a great idea for a challenge this was!

The star punch is cool, indeed. But my favourite thing is the partial lace border, I would never think to do that and I really like the way it looks. The postage border framing top and bottom is really effective too.

This is so creative and perfect for our F4A quote challenge this week! Love the girl image as well as the corrugated backdrop with the partial lace border die and that embossed punched star! Thanks for reminding me to get out our punches- I have so many that have not been used recently!!

Lots of cool details on this including that awesome embossed star...love it! I also like the borders at the top and bottom and the tiny here and there stars. Great card featuring that wonderful Paper Artsy image
