 | | This is for the Ways to Use It Challenge. I've been wanting to make a galaxy BG. I sponged my colors, added water droplets and then white/water paint splatters. After that was dry I used Wink of Stella over the whole panel, which really adds to the starry effect. This is basically a stepped up version of my other card. I added more layers and images and the BG required more steps. (Side note: I used Black archival. It didn't really make the water marks, but the paint splatters compensated for that. Need Black Soot DI or a DO!  )
I was trying to figure out who I would send this to and decided it will prob be my stamping buddy. She likes colored images and has a soft spot for DD glimmer paper. It was a good thing my husband took the kiddos for part of the weekend. I don't think I'll be making multiples of this one! Need to get back to my CAS ways! |
