This is for Friday's 12th day of Loll's 12 tags of Christmas. I was honored to be asked to guest design for this event. Sad to see this fun event ending but you have until the 24th to link up. You can link up here: Loll's 12 Tags of Christmas.
This is a gelli print using reinkers and white paint. I use random stencils for this as well as reprint several times. The most fun of these is working with someone else and using the residual ink or paint on the plate left by a friend, thus the blue specks. It always adds a bit of interest. I inlaid this ornament, and stamped and gold embossed the flourishes. Die cut the 25 from Shimmer Sheetz. Tiny nail heads were used to embellish the flourish. The photo makes this tag appear more orange but in reality it is leans more toward a gold color. Thanks for stopping by.

STUNNING tag, Nancy!! LOVE this beauty. So elegant and sophisticated. Gorgeous gelli print ... love the bit of blue at the bottom. Great design with the inlaid ornament. And the nail heads are a beautiful addition to your stamped flourishes! Thanks for Guest Designing for my tag event, my sweet friend!! xx

Beautiful background. The gold ornament and cord are perfect to bring the elegance to life. I hope you'll won't be a stranger to the gallery now the tag challenge is over.

Your sense of design really shines on this one, Nancy - the addition of those tiny nail heads to the flourish is the perfect elegant touch. I know the photo can't possibly do justice to all the shimmer and shine. I love the way you finished off the cording with crystals -tres chic!

At first glance this seems a very subtle design but as one examines it you see all the little intricacies of it. I love the nailheads on the flourish and also the hint of blue on the gelli print. The gold bits in the bg seem to glow. Another fabulous tag Nancy!

Another spectacular tag for me to ooh and aah over. Using a geli plate with a friend sounds like a good idea , however, I usually end up throwing a hissy fit when my gelli plate creations do not turn out any where near as gorgeous as yours and it is better to have a temper tantrum with no one around to see
I love the way the inlaid ornament looks. Your signature nail heads are fabulous...I have never seen them in the stores. They are definitely a "Nancy thing" that sways makes your creat ions shine.
Hello Nancy! I'm in shock after seeing your tag. It is unique and wonderful. Great project at the end of the event at Loll. I love your gelly background, it looks stunning and I will also have to try this technique sometime.
Thank you so much for the beautiful inspiration !!
Hugs,
