First - my heartfelt thanks to all who gave me feedback on the original card - I spent a good part of Saturday cranking out "Wine & Cheese" cards and experimenting.
The one on the left, I brayered ink onto the EMBOSSED side of the EF then added some shadows & color with prisma color pencils. Stamped my sentiment and embossed with snow white powder.
The one on the right, I brayered the same color ink onto the DEBOSSED side of the folder ( Had to do a fair amount of "cleaning" before huffing & puffing and running through my big shot.) I stamped my sentiment onto the card base but bobbled the stamp so stamped again on scrap, die cut with the scalloped oval, sponged some purple around the edges for definition and glued over the "oops" part.
I am MUCH happier with both these versions of the original card!!!

While I thought your original card was lovely in its own right I can see that these versions really kick it up a notch! Kudos to you for persevering until you were happy! :-) This is a super set of cards!

Linda,
I liked the original but I like these a lot!! Love the color of the one on the left, and the shading on the grapes!! But the colored wine bottle and items on the right are so cool as well!!
You did an outstanding job on both cards!! It is such a wonderful embossing folder!!

I'm particularly glad that the inking the folder suggestion worked for you; I was hesitant to suggest it as it's not a sure-fire success for me every time. I hope you treated yourself to some real wine after all your efforts!
