I saw the original from a couple days ago by chatterbox-1 (if I knew how to link to it, I would! lol). I hadn't used this die before. The foil paper was saved from a previous Christmas; I think the ribbon might have been from a birthday. The die included a couple flowers, which I snipped off in the hopes it would look more like mistletoe. It took me several tries to get the foil layered without wrinkles; I finally cut it oversized and folded it around the underlying cardstock so I could put the adhesive on the back.

I'm honored that you liked my card well enough to CASE. Your rendition is BEAUTIFUL...love the red, black, and white combination! Love the black twine intermixed with your sheer shimmer black ribbon. Pretty, pretty wrapping paper, and SU's Flourish Thinlit die is perfect with it...great sub for mistletoe. Your card is LOVELY! I may have to CASE yours and use that thinlit as well! :-)
I think you've re-read my explanation and found that I adhere the wrapping paper to scrap cardstock with my Scotch 3M tape runner to make it a heavier weight and easier to work with. I actually cut mine into 6" x 5-1/2" pieces and then added cs to them.
