I have long admired cards of this design but never attempted them because without alcohol inks I was never happy with my backgrounds. But! Along came this week's Technique challenge and Lydia's wonderful Stone Cold Twisted technique and I was Happy! I largely cased this card by Karen (k dunbrook) WT660, TLC662, Happy Holidays by k dunbrook at Splitcoaststampers.
Following Lydia's direction I used cotton balls to daub dye inks onto glossy paper. I flicked and daubed a bit of copper Perfect Pearls mixed with alcohol to add a bit of shine (not easy to see in the photo). The embossed panel is raised up with mounting foam. Thanks for the great technique. I'll be using it again I am sure!

Beautifully done, Ann. Technique turned out fabulous. Love the colors. Nicely done with the die-cuts and the embossing is terrific. It's wonderful how we inspire each other's creativity! TFS
