Congrats Cathie. Your gallery is wonderful. I loved this card: Party by CathieC at Splitcoaststampers
I thought I would use a party hat stamp that I had, but it was not big enough, so fashioned this one. I used a little die from the swirly scribbles thinlits for the pom-pom. I backed the celebrate with mint macaron, and did not intentionally offset it, but the glue and I had issues, and I think it makes it show up better. My changes were the dsp, the diecut and the party hat. Oh, and I do not have embossing paste yet, but I had the glittery dotted dsp that I wanted to use. TFL

This is absolutely gorgeous Shirl. These wonderful refreshing summertime colors in your dsp are like a breath of fresh air right now. I love how there is lots of sparkle and shine on this card and I love reading how you made your party hat too- fun! The touch of twine wraps this card up perfectly my friend. You have made a fantastic card based on Cathie's wonderful inspiration card. Hugs! ~Karen.

This is lovely Shirl! Well done on your party hat - love the sparkle! I also like your description that you and the glue had issues, lol! I know those issues, had a few myself. But you were the winner with this lovely birthday card!

Great take on the Cathie's card...lovely patterned paper choices. There are no mistakes (you and the glue) only another chance to add something to your card...in this case, I really like the shadowing in the word die.
