This is for the IC and F4A challenges. Yesterday my sister took me to a Christmas store she'd discovered and I saw the neatest poinsettia decorations. One was done with stripes and dots and I Loved it! That combination has always been one of my favorites. I had to cut the striped petals individually, gluing them on a die cut white one and layered with the dots. The leaves were cut from a piece of smooshed watercolor, the corner was cut with a M. Box distressed baptista die, backed with a salted watercolor piece and the sentiment was added. My inspiration was the poinsettia and pine wreath, but for some reason I can't link it.

Such a clever and beautiful striped and dots poinsettia, Sue. Love your corner die with your salted watercolor technique behind it. Wonderful sentiment too. TFS my friend. Hugs

My mom made me a red dress with a striped top and polka dot skirt when I was in junior high, and it was my favorite ... and I love that combination on your fun poinsettia ... awesome inspired design.
