This is my last submission for the Falliday Fest. Dina asked us to use a technique that starts with the same letter as our first name, so I chose "kissing."
I had high hopes for this, with a dozen cards planned. I wanted a "juicy" ink pad for better coverage on the silhouette, as well as for the kissed image. "The Sounding Joy" has a stamp with the text of "Joy to the World" in the shape of a star. Perfect, I thought. What I didn't consider is that the text, being essentially stamped twice, would come out backwards on my card...oops! You would think in the age of selfies I would have realized that!
Any way, I am going to complete the remaining cards tonight while my supplies are still out. The bases are done, the stars are embossed...I just need a different image for the kiss. But this was fun to bring out an older, classic technique!
tfl!

Very pretty card! And isn't it fun when we learn something from our "oops"? :-) Seems like I learn something every day... :-)

Well, if it helps - I had to squint because it looked like Hebrew writing - I think just the texture of text stamping is so cool. Love your layout, the soft gold and extra stars. Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge!

Oh, I would never think of that either! But it looks so good! I have a goal to do all the TLC challenges and kissing is next on my list. I've been putting it off because I just can't decide what to do. You, my dear, have inspired me with this beauty!
