This card was inspired by a recent Ways to Use It Challenge, WT658 Tickled Pink (10/19/17). The challenge was to light the gallery up with pink cards for October Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And the tough part of the challenge was to include a pink animal on your creation!
I have been intending to play along in this challenge for over a week, and finally decided it was time. I needed a fun card to put with a gift for a baby shower taking place tomorrow. Mom-to-be loves all things Snoopy, so I pulled out my favorite Snoopy stamp and a pale pink Copic marker.
After I was done coloring Snoopy I discovered that every piece of pink cardstock I had was the wrong color! How can this happen with the huge stash of pinks I have?! After wasting an embarrassing amount of time trying to make the impossible happen, it dawned on me that I could create my own custom colored pink cs by coloring the edges of the punched panel with the same Copic marker I used for Snoopy. Duh! Captain Obvious to the rescue...after an exceedingly slow response time, but I digress...
Once the color issue was solved, the rest of the card went together fairly quickly. I used pre-squeezed and dried Nuvo Crystals to add a bit of shimmer to the plaid background.
Snoopy is tickled pink, and so am I, that you took the time to swing by and take a peek. Thank you muchly!

I see Woodstock has gotten his revenge (the green Woodstock by Grannytranny). Because now Snoopy is Pink! This is an adorable card! Love the background plaid!
