I used a tag from a T-shirt that my mom got for me in Ireland last year. It had actually fallen on the floor in our craft room, and I just happened to find it! I punched a bird from a full-sticky Post It note to use as a mask. I adhered my mask to the tag, and inked through it with Yeti ink. I cut a piece of patterned paper to the size in the sketch for my background. I cut another tag shape from the flip side of the patterned paper, using the cardboard tag as a template. I created a hole reinforcer by punching with a 1/4" hole punch, and punching around that with a 1/2" circle punch. I glued that to my dark brown tag, and punched a hole through the tag. I threaded red & white baker's twine through the holes in each tag. I adhered them to my patterned paper.
For the greeting, I stamped the "Wishing You" onto a strip of pale blue cardstock with Versamark ink, and heat embossed it with silver. I masked off the last part of the "peace, love" stamp, so I only stamped the "peace" part, and heat embossed that as well. I trimmed off the ends of the strip, and adhered it over my tags. I matted the panel with blue, then red, and finally mounted it on a white card base.

Andrea, your card is so pretty - love the DP, the design, and the many steps to create this beauty show your desire for excellence. How very special to use a tag from the gift from Ireland on your card, too. Thank you for going From Trash to Treasure with me!
