For this Birds of a Feather challenge, I used the Alcohol ink on Yupo paper technique to create a winter sky. I Splattered metallic white water color paint for a snowy look and then with the metallic water color, I created a snow bank for my winter bird to sit on. Pretty simple but sweet?

Oh my gosh! I love your background!!! Superb job with the ink! It looks like blocks of ice or large ice rocks. I think I could stare at it forever. Love the piercing around the edges too. The metallic paint adds the finish. Excellent work.

I too thought your background looked like ice or an avalanche approaching! :-) Looks wonderful and the contrasting red bird is very eye catching! Great card!
