My first use of Nuvo aqua flow pens. I do like them, but the color selection is still small. I will likely get more because they're so fun!
I used a technique from Jill Foster. The trees, fence, grass, bird, etc are all stamped on watercolor paper with distress inks. Then the image is heat embossed with clear embossing powder. THEN you can do the background in any way that you like. The embossing allows you to watercolor without messing up the image, which is in water-reactive inks.
