My background is a gelli print using a leaf stencil and various acrylic paints. The flowers are made by first stamping an outline from 2 flower stamps and then tracing these on a metal surface using a ball point pen. I then flipped the metal and used a stumpf to go over the petals which puffed out the design. The petals were them painted with colorique in purple and ruby colors. I added some gold stickles to the center.

So interested to see you doing this, Polly. It's an old, old TLC that I remember trying once, and have often wondered about using for "Everything Old is New Again", but have never been sure it would get much take-up. This is a gorgeous example of it. Interesting to see that ink in action too, I've been seeing the banner ads for it.

Cool metal look, I love embossing on metal. I've never tried a gelly thingy. Not even really sure what it is but because of you, I have invested in Oxide Inks. One day I'm even planning on using them. Lol
